I know I'm way late but a word to the wise: Don't push the cork in. We uses to do this until I shattered the neck of one in my hands. Cut my hands to shit and got wine everywhere. Including my eyes which fucking burned.

Wrap the neck in a thick dish towel, grip at top and bottom, and then crack it over something like a counter. Outside is better to avoid a mess.
