They made me feel good.  I felt nauseous for about 45 minutes (which is normal) and then I felt really good.  I had a lot of energy, I had a mild euphoria, and I felt like I was lighter than air.  I think the effects also depend on which season they grow in.

Depends on the person mostly I'd say. Some people have lucid dreams, some people feel sick and light headed, some feel drunk and some feel nothing at all.

Yeah, most people around me who tried it didn't feel a thing, but I had really fun times on it, one lucid dreaming experience which was great, some fun visuals (I saw Fiat signs on my wall like wallpaper, and some other stuff), and when mixed with alcohol it gave me a very euphoric feeling, some visuals, shadows were more significant, neon letters on signs were flying out etc.,  and a bit trippy, had a great time allaround.
Btw, I heat dried mine in an oven.

thank you guys, i decided to start drying in the oven, i have ALOT now, went back and got some more that i left to continue growing, and still left some behind today, going back tomorrow, just stumbled into em when i was dove hunting, i have been looking for months now, since i saw The Pharmacratic Inquisition.

if they are wet before you start drying them, i recomend slicing and air drying them for a while.

if you put fully fresh amanitas in the oven, they'll drip everywhere.

if they are dryish and firm when you harvest them, it's fine.

It's not even a psychedelic.  Why would he have to be experienced in psychedelics?

Maybe you want to be experienced in deleriants.. I don't know, I don't think it was a "difficult" high.

It's nice with a bit of weed.

sound advice. also, considering the potential difference in active content between each mushroom, the more you mix up the dried material, the more you can average out the 'grammage' to dose.

idealy,if there is no degradation in the actives due to oxidisation,given the larger surface area(not sure if this is in the case with fly agarics)you would powderise and thoroughly mix the material for storage.

Ive got libs and flys from this season and whilst i dont care too much for the flys... i would like to try them at some stage just to see. I have around 36g dried and powdered. Here's how i prepared them:

got them home and washed the crap of them but didnt get them too wet.... you dont want water  in the gills because it will take ages to dry.

Then i cut all the stripes from the cap

Next depending on the size of the cap you might want to cut them into halves or quarters to speed things up

Then i started to dry them on a rack i made with a heater

Then once they were drying i put them in the oven on a low heat with the door slightly open to keep it like a dry heat (sauna like)

Then once they were nice and crispy all the way though i put them in a coffee grinder and powdered them.

Storing them in an air tight sealed glass jar. recommended dose by weight is around 8-12g. I may buy empty pill capsules and consume that way?

Hope this info helps. I spent many many hours reading about them and their preparation first and i suggest you do the same. Its all knowledge at the end of the day :thumbup:

As far as I know, muscimol doesn't get oxidized though any normal process.

Apologies. I don't know anything about "tripping" on amanita muscaria. It is only from what i have heard. My friends who have taken A.M said it was awful.  Erowid classes A.M as both a Psychedelic and a deleriant.
