i was cooking my poo and for about 10 minutes the temp rose over 190 degrees... should i pasteurize a new batch of poo? i have a feeling the answer is gonna be yes.

No that shouldn`t really be a big problem at all.
I often find my dung will go to 180-185 for 5-10 minutes without any kind of problems.
It`s only when you let it go at that temperature for an hour or so that it might be a problem, even then I`ve heard of people having success with sterilised dung anyway.

Ok good.. its a relief to hear that. I just finished my first Poo spawn. Im a little more worried about contams this time that i have with my previous casing. i guess ill just have to wait and see. wish me luck.. hah

Shit I wouldn't worry. I accidently boiled mine once at a rapid boil for more than 10 mins and it worked fine.

hehe, yea....one of my mates was pasterizing some poo but fell asleep on the couch.....he woke up and realized it had been boiling for over an hour.

The Poo worked brilliantly....and he isnt the most sterile of people.

the worst part was trying to get rid of the barnyard smell before his parents got up :wink:.
