There are several methods for cloning. You can use a small piece of mycelium or you can use tissue excised from a mushroom. There was also a post in here a while back using peroxide and a blender. Any method other than using spores to grow shrooms is essentially cloning

Question about Funkyballoon's mushroom-in-a-blender cloning tek... will it still work if the shroom to be blended has been sitting in my fridge for a couple days? In other words, will the mycelium still be in an 'active' state after that long, or does the shroom need to be fresh?

Similarly, once you make a syringe with the h2o2/water/mycelium, do you need to immediately innoculate with it? Or will the syringe last for awhile? I know spores will keep for a long time, but this is mycelium in solution.
