Can you make clone-water using honey?

FOAF wanted to know if this is possible. He had a monster Ecuadorian that he wanted to clone, but no agar so he brainstormed. He wants to know if this has a possibility of working:

He took a sterilized xacto knife, split the monster and removed 4-5 small chunks of it's stem flesh from right under the cap and at it's base. He sterilized a 1/2 pint jar and filled with about 50ml 3% Peroxide and in a glove box, he dropped in the chunks and let them sit overnight. The next day he sterilized some honey water and under aseptic conditions he added the Hwater to the peroxide and shroom chunks in the jar. He put the jar in his incubator, and 36 hours later he sees things floating in the water, but it doesn't look as promising as his syringes he made with honey water.

Will the mycellium make the jump from the tissue to the honey water and then keep growing or did he waste his time?

Should he use this water to innoc jars tomorrow, or wait a couple of days, or just forget the whole brainstorm and get agar?

Any advice appreciated....

I think overnight in the peroxide might be too long. Usually a 1 minute bath will suffice. I normally wait 3 - 4 days for the mycelia to grow. This tek either works perfectly or grows pre-contaminated mycelia.

Thanks for the reply. So if you were afoaf, would you use this on 12 jars or would you start over giving them only a short bath in h202?

If you keep everything sterile and take the chunks from inside the mushroom near the base then you shouldn't need to bathe them in peroxide at all. To be safe, 1 minute is good though. What you could do instead is just add the peroxide to the honey water after it's cooled and dump the chunks in without any bath. I'm not sure how leaving mycelium in 3% peroxide overnight affects it. Under normal conditions, the chunks should take to the honey water and produce new mycelium, assuming the chunks are fresh.
