A lot of "wood"shrooms grow well on rye grains (spawn). Can Reishi work this way too?

perhaps i havent expressed myself correctly. a wood lovin shroom needs wood, thats known.
some wood shrooms though can grow on rye grain, for spawn and then innoculate straw, wood, or whatever needed. Pleurotus for example is a pure wood loving shroom, but i have read teks of making grain-spawn.
so? can someone help? i really need a help here u guyz!

i think very few mushrooms will refuse to grow on most grains.
also, it's getting a little old to see someone post negative comments in many threads with no explanations or real info.
if you have some helpful information, post it. but if you just go around replying with "that's bullshit" or "nope, it won't work" ... you're not really being very constructive, and your comments go pretty much unheeded.
if you'd really like to make a difference, post some info.
