A question that needz an answer... please? :)
    #1127739 -

A lot of "wood"shrooms grow well on rye grains (spawn). Can Reishi work this way too?

Please help.

perhaps i havent expressed myself correctly. a wood lovin shroom needs wood, thats known.

some wood shrooms though can grow on rye grain, for spawn and then innoculate straw, wood, or whatever needed. Pleurotus for example is a pure wood loving shroom, but i have read teks of making grain-spawn.

so? can someone help? i really need a help here u guyz!

I will propose a claim, based on previous experience: every mushroom?s mycelium grows on grain.

listen to anno.
i think very few mushrooms will refuse to grow on most grains.

also, it's getting a little old to see someone post negative comments in many threads with no explanations or real info.

if you have some helpful information, post it.  but if you just go around replying with "that's bullshit"  or "nope, it won't work"  ... you're not really being very constructive, and your comments go pretty much unheeded.

if you'd really like to make a difference, post some info.

peace

Excuse me once more. I am the one who posted the question. How can i post some info to help myself? In this case, we could the have the masturbating-net, not the inter-net. In the latter, we communicate in order to learn. Thats why i asked. Because i didnt know.

Kykeon, he was supporting you and upset with zeta's negative response with no backup.

I'd apologise, it was a misunderstanding ;p

ever so sorry.
sincerely.
that's just me trying to be vague and non-confrontational, while being outspoken.
wak of me. :frown:

the comments were not directed at you, although my reply was to you.

i apologize.
i do think most mushrooms will colonize a wide variety of grains.
wood-lovers included.

peace.
