And if you need a A/F meter to make sure you aren't running lean on a naturally aspirated 4 cylinder Honda motor, you are doing something HORRIBLY wrong.

What usual ricer shit?

Do you see a body kit on it? No

Do you see 18inch rims on it? No

Do you see neons? No

Do you see mismatched paint? No

Do you see sticker? No

I dont know what your definition of rice is, but my car sure as hell doesn't qualify as it. I think I justified the reason why I have the air/fuel meter. Just because I'm not boosted doesn't mean I can't monitor my spent fuel with bolt-ons, internals, and ecu.

That is a very nice looking eg.... I would snap it up myself if you were in my country.
I have a 97 toyota levin bzr..  9000 rpm =FTW

Just needs a paint job, hood and fenders and it will be near perfection as far as cosmetics go.

The camera I took the pics w/ sucks balls too. Only 4 megapix because I can't charge my fujifil 8megapix.

One more thing. Do you honestly think a relatively stock D series can reliably rev to 9k rpm?

It's been holding up for a year so far w/ no issues. Just gotta make sure you keep proper level of fluids in it.

Mobil 1 full synthetic oil all the way.

By the way illume, I didn't know toyota still made the levin. pretty sweet if you could retrofit that motor into an 86.

I remember you gave me rating once. I've got a '93 SI hatch with a D15b in it. I had some problems with the old Z6 so I decided to start fresh. Ha the motor is as torqueless as anything but I can get 35-37 mpg out of it so I don't care. I <3 my Honda

removed all the sound deadening material/carpet and resprayed the metal with a fresh coat of white. I lost about 75lbs from the strip.

Not a powerhouse by any means, but with a few modifications like I have done, you would be surprised how quick it is because of its weight. It doesn't weight but 2000lbs. Not the beefiest motor, but light.

So you've just been blasting around for a year, going 2500rpm over redline on stock internals just because an ECU reprogram raised the engine redline to 9k?

Yeah I agree. I had it gutted from the back seats back for a while, but it's back in now. Being an Si though it's kind of a chunky hatch. Once the little single cam gets past about 4,000 rpm it runs decent enough, I mean for 125hp anyway.

I hope to keep it after I get out of college to do something fun to it. But for now it is a perfect college car.

Im pretty sure redline starts at 8 on the engine in that eg:crazy2:
I push mine to rev limit every weekend no problems... just takes reg maintenence
