i'm gonna sell my beer mugs.

At the phish shows to get money, i'm gonna try selling some stuff that i have that i don't need and can get money for.

here are the mugs i wanna sell.




this one says like "1972 Olympics" or something like that. Those first three picturs are all of the same one.




This one is a "usinger's sausage" one...and on one side it says 1880 and the other 1980...so i'm guessing this one is from 1980...i don't know anything about these mugs, i found them all in a big dumpster. I had like 9 but kept 3.






this one is my favorite beacuse it's textured and 3D and stuff.

But how much do you think i should sell each one for? They are all in perfect quality, and are kinda old. I don't know what a good price is...one that gets me a decent amount of money, but not too high to turn people away from buying them...and it will seem kinda weird selling beer mugs, but whatever.



I'm also gonna sell this pipe to anyone who wants it, and if no one buys it before the show, i will sell it in the lots.



If i don't sell it before the shows, i'm gonna clean it out, and i'ved cleaned it before, but up by the bowl, there is a hard spot to clean. (the method i used was microwave water so it gets hot and put the pipe in there and let it sit of a bit and it would come off pretty good and i would get a q-tip to rub any remains out.) And in that one spot i can't get a q-tip in there, so what liquid can i use that will remove all the resin? Cause if i'm selling it in the lots i don't want there to be some resin still in part of the pipe.

Tip-fuck that hot water and q-tip shit.  Use salt and rubbing alcohol or rice and rubbing alcohol.  The damned thing will shine like new in 3 shakes.  This is no lie.

That Old Style mug rocks, you goofy wisconsin people and your silly beers  :grin:

the old style mug is awesome! it says "drink with style" and it's all 3d and shit...i would like to keep it, but if i need money i'll sell it cause i don't care.

i found them all in a dumpster.


So how do i do the rubbing alohol and salt?

find a containor you can put salt and alcohol in. Put a generous amount in there, add a good amount of salt. Just enough so it's shaking around good and acting as an abrassive. Rock salt and rice work best but they only work in larger glass. Salt and alcohol are cheap it shouldn't be to hard to figure out. With my bong I just pour alcohol in in and add a good pour of salt and shake with my hands over the openings. It's usually spotless in a few shakes.

i just did the alcohol and salt and it worked fine except for the area that i can never get cleaned...it's like a little crevas ors omething, idk.


the part i can't get cleaned is from the right side of the second to right finger and my pinky...thats like the area of what i can't get cleaned....in the pic you can see a spot where it's not colored as dark and i dont know how i got that out. BUt it's between the bowl and the inside of the pipe, i can't get anything up there to scrape it either.

anyone has any other tips? otherwise hopefully someone won't care that there is stills ome rez in part of the pipe.

I would think you could probably get more for those mugs on ebay, but oyu probably don't have time for that..

i was thinking that too, but yeah the phsih shows are friday and saturday.


I don't even want to learn how much i could get for them on e-bay cause i could probably get some good prices.


But any money i get from it is all profit. I'm gonna give them a decent price, but fair. Not bad at all for the person paying, but i get some decent cash to get stuff in the lots. I'm just hoping people will be interested in buying them.
