Best King Crimson album for tripping?

Whats your favourite King Crimson album to trip to, or just get very stoned to? Right now Im really into In the Wake of Poseidon, but my favourite album by them changes like every 2 weeks.
And if you havnt heard of King Crimson, you relly should get into then, they are equally not if better in the physcadelic aspect as Pink Floyd, and are great to just listen to sober. Their mystical lyrics and trippy guitar(thanks to Robert Fripp, and his Frippertronics)is just midblowing.

Depends on the kind of trip you want or where you're at in the arc. For overwhelming sonic overload I would go with Red or Court. For immersive introspectiveness I would go with Islands but Wake is also an excellent choice. If you are feeling an intellectual type trip, Discipline or, for just a fun trip, Three of a Perfect Pair.

For me, its probably:
Lizard > Discipline > The Construcktion of Light
I mean, there is no bad or unpsychedelic king crimson song, you pretty much are guaranteed a mind fuck when you listen to the King. ^^

It is as shitty and plain as this album cover............ Needs salt, pepper, and the tobasco thats makes up the flavor of their other music.

I dont know if anyone mentioned it but Beat was an awesome album.
...just kidding I have never even heard of them, what would be a really good song that could be somewhat representative of their canon?

My vote goes to their semi-title track, "In the Court of The Crimson King", but I'm not nearly the authority on KC that some of the folks here are.
Live version of In the Court of:

Beat is an awesome album! Jack, Neal and Me, is very good for a physcidelic kind of rythem, its very simular to Disapline, seeing as Beat was released right after Disapline.

For a single song I might say Starless and Bible Black or Lark's Tongue In Aspic. They seem to contain a lot of the themes that are fairly constant in Fripp's work.

Try looking up the following three songs to give you a good idea:
Neal and Jack and Me
Cadence and Cascade

The song 'ladies of the road' off of ISLANDS is amazing. It's definitely my favorite song by them.
The album as a whole isn't as good as some of their other stuff though. I like Starless and Bible Black and Lark's Tongue in Aspic.
In the Court of the Crimson King is good too, and same with In the Wake of Poseidon.
With a band like King Crimson most of their older albums are worth a listen.
