Looking for good music.

im looking for some good tunes to listen to next time i dose on shrooms. i used to listen to house music, dance, techno, whatever whenever i drank tussin, but im done with that now, and the station that used to play the good techno, turned into some non-stop hip hop crap, where they play the same song every 1 and a half hour. so now i am left with no really good music of that nature. so im interested in DLing some or getting ahold of some. any good bands, DJs, whatever i should check out? thanks

hmmm
Well TheHateCamel, im into mostly Metal, of the deathish variety. and i think it may well prove to be to intense, and im really looking for something more soothing, spiritual.
However, I'm gonna bet that some Opeth would do GREAT. Listen to like all of Morningrise, that would kick serious ass. or listen to Therion.
Therion, those guys are crazy. they are Opera Metal. if you wanna hear something that will blow your mind, check out therion, cause all Therion ever does it blow my mind. i mean Opera Metal, who woulda thunk it?

I suggest Incubus. Any album, but Morning View is the best tripping album in my opinion... That's just my 2 cents though...

Deftones self-titled. very theatrical and moving. i listened to it on shrooms a year ago and it guided me to places.
turn on Winamp Radio and go to ambient genre. really trippy stuff on there.

I'd recommend everyone try out some albums by Plastikman (aka Richie Hawtin). I haven't seen any mention of him at all, and it's some of the most intense tripping music I've ever heard. Be warned, it's not very happy music...very dark and drawn out--it lets your mind wander like crazy! "Consumed" is probably his best so check it out.

If you want something different, try Fila Brazillia and Jazzanova for some gorgeous genre-busting downtempo-type stuff. They've each got about 10 albums or something like that.
