I'd recommend everyone try out some albums by Plastikman (aka Richie Hawtin). I haven't seen any mention of him at all, and it's some of the most intense tripping music I've ever heard. Be warned, it's not very happy music...very dark and drawn out--it lets your mind wander like crazy! "Consumed" is probably his best so check it out.

If you want something different, try Fila Brazillia and Jazzanova for some gorgeous genre-busting downtempo-type stuff. They've each got about 10 albums or something like that.

I'd also add The Orb to this great list of music!

yea... the requiem for a dream soundtrack is prime serart is pretty cool queens of the stone age sounds like itd be great on shrooms, but i havent gotten much into em. i love how the real song for the deaf and millionaire start off songs for the deaf i second Opeth and i wanna add Quintessence Pearl Jam and OUTKAST... even if you dont like rap... listnen to outkast's aquemini all the way through fucking wicked rad lyrics... "lets talk about time traveling, rhyme javeling, something mind unravelling, GET DOWN!" rap you can trip to for sure and while we're on rap, Deltron 3030 <---- pure TRIP RAP to me (Deltron 3030 a.k.a. Del the Funky Homosapien) look it up and Cypress Hill And Red is also my favorite King Crimson... with Larks' Tongues in Aspic in close second... music fucking magic right there oh yea... and i wanna add Fiona Apple.... badass shit. So underrated. and FUCKING SEXY
-------------------- that there, thats not me. i go where i please. im not here. this isnt happening.
