AITF, any reasons for saying that? David Gilmour's melodies are to this day some of the most beautiful and haunting lines to ever pass through an amplifier. Roger Water's arranging and lyrics are some of the most brilliant ever. Oh yeah, and they made not one, but three masterpieces: DSOTM, the Wall, and Wish You Were Here... I love em.... but, to each his own...
Anyways.... my fav albums:
Jimi Hendrix/Band Of Gypsies
Miles Davis/Kind of Blue
Jazz is Dead/Live at the House of Blues Chicago
Jazz is Dead/Live from the House of Blues Sunset Strip
John Coltrane/East-West
Phish/ A Live One
Phish/ Slip, Stich, and Pass
Phish/ The Siket Disk
Allman Brothers/At Fillmore East
Allman Brothers/An Evening With (Pt 2)
Allman Brothers/Live From Ludlow Garage (for Mountain Jam, if nothing else)
Grateful Dead/Live from the Fillmore East
Widespread Panic/Light Fuse... Get Away
Pink Floyd/Dark Side of the Moon
Pink Floyd/Animals
Pink Floyd/The Wall
Pink Floyd/Wish You Were Here
Bob Marley/Legend
Lynyrd Skynyrd/One More from the Road
Doors/Doors
Doors/LA Woman
Beatles/Revolver
Beatles/White Album
Beatles/Abbey Road
Gov't Mule/Live....With a Little Help from our Friends
Gov't Mule/Live From the Roseland Ballroom
Blind Melon/their first album.... I forget the name
Jethro Tull/Thick as a Brick
Led Zeppelin/I
Led Zeppelin/II
Led Zeppelin/III
Led Zeppelin/Physical Graffiti
Led Zeppelin/The Song Remains the Same
So much great music...
