The funny thing is this guy had plenty of time to look through all the threads in this forum cutting down The Secret and he still could not come up with the three main things he disagrees with about the philosophy. It's always the same with these people who blindly put down The Secret. ALWAYS, in my Internet encounters. This strategy always checkmates them. Their opinions about The Secret are about as well thought out as my last fart. What a riot!

Like I said: in the past I would get angry at such people who put down philosophies without even knowing what they are talking about. Heck, if I did such a thing in this forum what would that make me, eh? I won't say it, but you who are reading this most certainly know the answer.

I'll give you a hint:

The opposite of wise 

C'mon people. Those who put-down philosophies when they barely have a clue what the philosophies are actually about are ________

I say with ALL HONESTY that thanks to the proper use of the philosophies contained in The Secret I now have the car of my dreams, the house of my dreams. I am retired young and can go to places like in the above photo I took any day I please. Plus all my bills are paid off completely every month. Only the truly rich can do this.

I tell you truly that if you are absolutely certain The Secret does not work YOU ARE ABSOLUTELY RIGHT…for you. Yes indeed according to the philosophy of The Secret if you are certain The Secret does not work IT WILL NOT work…for you. Congratulations! You have successfully used The Secret so that it WILL NOT work for you. Aren’t you proud of yourself? I am! I sincerely hope you enjoy the poverty you have manifested using The Secret. It is what you Intended and it is what you have successfully manifested. To work against The Secret is to work against YOUR personal prosperity. You sabotage yourself and I could not possibly want any sweeter revenge against you. Ha!

The best is yet to come as I develop the ability to quickly heal myself of all infirmity AT WILL. I’m getting better and better at it and earlier today as I was in that very mountain stream I was told by the Spirit of Nature that to have lots of healing energy, in order to heal myself at will, I should always be sending out healing energy to everyone and everything, through my imagination. If I see a plant in need, send out universal healing energy, through my being, to the plant. Send out healing energy, through my being, to the clouds, the mountains, the bees, whatever humans may cross my path. After-all, I was told, EVERYONE can use being at least a little bit healthier. Whether they are good or evil, EVERYONE can use being at least a little bit healthier. So envision myself as a human siphoning device for the healing energy of the universe and send healing energy out everywhere as often as I can remember. Make it a borderline obsession refusing to give up and the Sentient Universe will do the rest.

Use my imagination to heal everyone and everything I can think of, myself equally included, and the Sentient Universe will ‘see’ to the rest.

Well, unless you empirically experience what I am about to state FOR YOURSELF it will only be, at best, tales of power; more mythology to add to the mythologies of the world:

The real question you should be asking is: 'What is NOT the sentient conscious universe?’

Science is proving that the protons and electrons that make up all atomic particles of our daily reality are not solid ‘things’. They are mysterious types of energetic charges that are continually ‘popping’ in and out of existence. As quantum physicists do their best to study electrons they have found that the electrons respond as though THEY KNOW they are being watched.

So, the sentient, conscious universe is the conscious and supremely aware energy that makes up this illusion of solidity all around and in us equally.

Like I stated: You MUST experience the conscious sentience of the Universe firsthand for what I have just written to make any real sense to you. If you cannot silence your thoughts at will I strongly doubt you will ever make the proverbial somersault of thought into the inconceivable in order to experience the sentience of the universe directly. You MUST be able to get past your ego and the only way I know to do this AT WILL is to silence the internal dialogue that continually tells you what is and what is not possible. As long as that internal dialogue is going you will always be limited by what you have been brainwashed into believing is and is not possible in life.

The fact that electrons change their behaviour as soon as they are being observed is proof that there is an aware energy. Is that right? And because all of reality is formed by these electrons, so the entire universe is an aware energy. Correct?
But why do you call it sentient? It doesn't really feel, does it?
Apart from that i do agree that this universe is full of awareness. All things react to one another. But why do you call it sentient? That makes it sound like its a being like you and me...

Now about this silencing of the mind and the mind's acrobatics. It sounds like you claim that there is a change in the mind. And after that one has an experience of this sentience of the universe?

So you claim there is a sentient universe that knows. And that we have to make a change in our mind so that we can experience this? Am i with you so far?

Let me tell you that fresh, drinkably delicious mountain stream was rather cold yesterday.
I felt the Mountains telling me that I had to, once again, baptize myself in honor of the Mountain Spirit.
As I got closer to the area where the stream is deep enough for me to baptize myself I started ‘hooting’ over the coldness of the water.

Then I boldly baptized myself and came up out of the water screaming:

“HALLELUJAH! HALLELUJAH!!!!

JESUS IS IN DA WOWTAH!

(a young couple stopped as they were going by and I screamed)

They didn’t even smile as they walked away and I in-‘stinkly’ knew,
with my sick sense personally given to me by Archangel Michael herself, that they were most probably Christians
and didn’t find my silly performance funny at all.

Beyond my ego. You mean from my being? From what i am. And what i am is not something i can think or create because it is universal and transcendent. I am a reality so profound yet so simple it can only baffle the ego.

Well OK. Suppose i am this reality beyond the ego. And suppose i have experienced the dimension beyond my personal self. Suppose i have had the experience that transcends the ego, thought and all conceptualisation.

What do i do now in order to attain what i want? How do i ask the universal reality, truth if you like, to give me what i want? Please tell me...  :hi:

You are funny. You act as though being in such a state is easy to attain. Many spend their entire lives meditating without being able to get far enough beyond the ego to perceive the Universe as Sentient, Conscious & Aware. Shamanistic cultures have done so, but too many power plants can ruin a person’s perception and drive him into all sorts of dangerously delusional realms.

It’s pretty much all there in The Secret. If you don’t want to invest and take the time to read and study it forget about becoming a master of manifesting. You are obviously expecting some sort of easy free ride from Sentient Eternity. If you approach Sentient Eternity with such an attitude the Universe will put you through hell to humble you. So, approaching Sentient Eternity in a state of mind of supreme gratitude and humility is paramount to minimizing the ‘gamut’ ‘hazing’ Sentient Eternity will most probably put you through before it reveals anything directly to you at all.

I’ve suffered tremendously, and periodically continue to do so, for the knowledge you expect me to hand over to you on a proverbial silver platter. Reading this knowledge and being able to make it work for you are not the same thing.

Minimum requirements include:

Radiating tremendous gratitude and appreciation for what you have already manifested, (in other words: your current life)

Supremely Consistent Humility

You have to be able to CLEARLY SEE yourself attaining whatever it may be you are intent on manifesting. If you cannot CLEARLY see yourself attaining it that is usually a sign that the Sentient Universe does not approve or endorse your objective

You have to restructure your thinking patterns so that you do more and more things throughout the day using the philosophy contained in The Secret. You have to get to the point where you do EVERYTHING in your life using the philosophy contained in The Secret

You have to feed a growing lustful burning desire towards the manifestation of your objective. You have to want it more than a junkie wants his next heroin fix and you must be able to maintain that lustful burning desire determined that NOTHING will be able to stop you from attaining what it is you are determined to manifest

These are some of the minimum requirements I can think of

I appreciate you sharing your near death experience.  It sounds generally similar to what I experienced recently smoking DMT for the first time.

As you seem to agree, the lessons for one's growth ultimately come from looking inward.  What I perceive to perhaps be lacking from your personal philosophy is the practice of looking to one's interactions with others as the truest measure of personal progress.  To develop a spiritual practice in isolation is all fine and good, but I humbly suggest reflecting on your own reaction to the cheers, jeers and jabs of the other inhabitants of this world.  I have found it to be an excellent  practice for distinguishing the divine from the delusional.  The format of the internet forum is ideal for this reflection, as your unsettled moments are all available for examination in their original form.

As has been rebutted numerous times here, postive thoughts, visualization and intention have zero affect on cancer cells. None. Nada. Zip. Just like facts have no effect on delusional people.

On another note, this over-the-hill, arthritic athlete challenges you to a racquetball match if you are ever in Vegas, as I see you are into that as well. The forum already knows who would win. :wink:
