First Trip Reflections: A Thank You Letter

I’m writing this to try my best to articulate the experience that I participated in a few weeks ago. I’m writing this to express my immense gratitude for all of the people doing their part in spreading information and awareness about this experience.

Three weeks ago I participated in my very first psychedelic trip. Never having done anything like this before, I had absolutely no idea what this was going to be like. I remember having numerous pre-conceptions about what this experience was going to be like and how I was going to feel and what I would want to do, yet that all went straight out the window when it actually came to pass.  I was slightly nervous at first, while we were sitting in our circle and began to consume these tiny mushrooms, however, due to the optimism of my friends and the online support of communities like this one; I felt I was being led by good hands.

There is no way for me to do anything that I experienced that night any justice. My goal in writing this is to let everyone out there who might possibly stumble on to this, that there are things in this world that are worth striving for, and if you are a curious person at all and you happen to be considering  partaking in any sort of psychedelic experience, I say go for it. First make sure you are in a safe place with loving people, and that you have a free day afterward to reflect on the experience, but other than that, you are limited by nothing but your imagination.

I also wanted to express my immense gratitude for people providing accurate information and positive support via sites like this. I felt that without the positive outlook on these substances provided from the individuals who frequent these pages, I would not have had as positive an experience that I did.

The best way for me to describe my experience is that of pure wonder and awesomeness about everything possible in this world. I am certain that my life was forever changed after such a loving experience. Looking at the world now, I can pick out each individual person’s beauty and loving characteristics. I can feel the positive outlook about our natural world and my relationship to the environment. I have also come to realize the true priorities that exist in my life and the things I must do to reach these.
During our trip my group of friends kept a journal that we passed around if anyone felt like recording anything down that night, one of the things we found the next day can best be used to summarize the experience I felt that evening.

“Life is too short and beautiful to be anything but happy”

In short I cannot express how amazing and life changing this experience was through the words I am typing, but I have learned that life is about trying your best at every positive thing you try to accomplish.

I wish I could thank each and every one of you who provided me with the positive support and accurate information needed to facilitate this experience.

if you're like me, you might become too enthusiastic and overstep some bounds in the upcoming weeks, months, years, but you'll find your way again.
