The whole concept of being alive is just so .... weird

i'm thinking introspectively here. it's just boggles my mind how these objects and atoms can come together and form something that is alive and thinks. I don't think any animal actually thinks or have this concept or notion that it's actually alive - it just acts - it doesn't know any better. yet we have this odd ability to actually understand and try to make sense why?

I find the concept of being alive, but stuck in a cubicle for a good portion of your life, quite fascinating. Then after you work those long hours and days and weeks and years, waiting for Friday every week then dreading Monday all weekend, to the point of retirement, you realize you can't pay your bills and have to sell your home, and eventually die alone at a nursing home in Alberta.

Yes, life is interesting, because most of us we never really think about it until something else loses it.

I'm currently stuck in the system, 6 days a week work + 30 hours university study a week.

I don't even feel like I'm living, its just "get through the day so you can have a beer, vape some weed and go to sleep".

Just for once I want to wake up and do what I want, without a worry for date/time or outside committments.

Even "holidays" suck because in 4-6 weeks time you have to go do all the same shit again :megacrankey:

I can't wait to escape this crap and start experiencing life, because this isn't it :megacrankey:

All this "shit" is on you my friend.  You want money to buy some pot, work, asshole.  Outside commitments are all your choice.

Not really, I tried that about 2 years back, it failed. You need food/water/shelter and a bit of basic comfort.

Next time I do it in ~18 months time, I'll have my own land with a little self contained shed on it, so it might work out.

They're not positive, doing repetitive tasks in a corporation no matter which way you look at it is complete balls.

Also I shouldn't NEED money to buy pot, that's just a consequence of this bullshit system.

you can walk away from it all. you just choose to go with this lifestyle because a.) everyone told you to and everyone does it. or b.) you can't give up what that money represents to you. And in turn you'd rather give up your freedom and your thoughts on corporate time.

why did it have to come from anything? perhaps it was just always there. they say nothing ever is really destroyed just changes from one thing to another. perhaps this is the case. things just don't appear.

it's all about playing things to your advantage. the corporate world sucks, but it's possible to manipulate it to our advantage. or you can choose to run into the hills and live a solemn but happy life.
