1.75g to trip hard

The last time I did shrooms the dealer who is well known in my town told me that I will trip hard from only 1.75g of shrooms because they are very strong. I bought 3.5g, dried by the way, and took the 1.75 with orange. Now that I come to think about it I tripped but I didn't really trip out of my mind. Is it possible to have shrooms as strong as the dealer described? I guess I'm asking more so how much does the potency of shrooms very?

If they were cubensis, which they probably were if you bought them, no. Cubes don't seem to vary in potency as much as you would think. The effects could be slightly different, more of a body high VS very visual, but everyone says, "Cubes are Cubes."

yes. cubes are among the less potent. there is only one type less potent than cubes...and i believe four or five types more potent. carmel caps are more potent for srue:thumbup:

^ exactly. i'm very sensitive to tryptamines. half an 8th will give me a very solid trip. half an 8th for my friends won't give them any noticeable effects

Oh that all makes a lot of sense, thanks for the information everyone. The difference between people's definition of tripping hard makes a lot of sense to me as my friend, who took the same amount as me, said he was tripping very hard.
