pf tek help - fruits in jars

Just checked on my 1/2 pint jars today (these are the Ball, not Kerr, so they are taller than the Kerr 1/2 pint jars frequently seen) and I noticed what appeared to be mycelial growth in my dry verm layer. I quickly opened the lid to see what was going on, and I discovered a few decent sized fruit bodies poking up into the empty space between the dry verm layer and the lid. These jars are about 95% colonized, each jar has a spot on the bottom about the size of a quarter that is uncolonized. The substrate has shrunk enough during colonization that there is a decent amount of room between the verm layer and the top of the jar where the fruits have grown.

What should I do from here? Allow to finish colonizing, although the pace has slowed to a crawl, or should I birth the jars and crumble and case?

Any input is appreciated, I have never come across this before.
