keeping your house clean will not keep mice out my friend
Mice will fucking chew through boxes of food to get to it
you basically have to put all your food in metal containers
to prevent those vicious bastards from getting your shit

The honest to god best option for mice is a cat
once them lil bastards see the cat
they will leave on their own

if you can't use a cat, then massive amounts of poison and traps
are really the only way to fight those demons

seriously man...a mouse isn't going to make a living off of chewing through boxes for food....get logical.seeing as how most boxed food is wrapped in plastic inside of those boxes.  im sure this all "might" happen once in a blue moon...but if your not living in a pig pen then they won't be around in the FIRST place....to find all that energy to go mountain climbing in your kitchen scaling walls n shit just so chew through a couple inches of cardboard only to find baking soda.

keeping your house clean will keep them out....or at least out of your living area's.  if they find a nice little home somewhere you can't even see them so what, like i said they have live traps n shit if it really pisses you off that much.  really the only time you might see them if your clean, is in winter time but that mostly depends on how your house is built

I have seen mice climb up into a cabinet that was over my head, and chew through a box of cereal.
I have seen the lil bastards chew through a bag of rice too

If you happen to live near any farmland
you will have issues with mice
regardless how clean you keep you house
unless you have a cat
