Well it seems to me that the media is now goin to start showing the positives are marijuana due to rising call for legalizing.

I think marijuana has the potential to cause schizophrenia or psychosis.  But i think its rare, only effecting people that have a genetic predisposition to it, or latent underlying mental illness.

I believe its the same thing with psychedelics, except a slightly higher rate of schizophrenia or psychosis, as the psychedelic experience closely resembles the two.

Well, I can vouch for that.

Sometimes my terrible anxiety feels like what I used to get on the comeup of what was going to be a very, very bad trip. I just get it a lot now. Explains why I got it a lot back then, I suppose.

I've experienced pretty much everything, outside of auditory or visual hallucinations, that can be explained as part of the psychedelic experience.

Sometimes I wonder if I was drawn to psychedelics as a way to truly figure out what was wrong with me. What better way than to punch you in the face?

I'm thankful for it whenever I think about it like this. It was so much better for my issues to come up when they did. My god, if they started creeping in now I don't know what I'd do. Forget when I'm 40 with kids and career, it would be so life-shattering I wouldn't know what to do. Well, I didn't back then either, but it was much more convenient in the broad scope of my life.

I have a major family history of mental illness but pretty much all of it is misdiagnosed. You can see it if you look hard enough, or listen long enough, or get a general scope of their behaviour.

Read The study, they even suggest pschotic rates went down when marijuana trends increased 4 fold.

Now you're not really using real evidence.

A documentary isn't real evidence imo. Use case studies or something.

A documentary is really about one thing and one thing only, ratings, whatever is appealing to the eye.

Ya. If it isn't in the amazon, you don't get the proper Healing qualities of the plant.


In the US the plant is recreational if best.......you really need an epic journey to an area filled with uneducated people......The belief it's going to heal you is 90% of whats happening.....fuck science.

This one time I had cancer, AIDS, lukemia, genital warts, AND homosexual tendencies.

I would think amphetamines, cocaine, and the like would lead to more cases of schizophrenia and psychosis than cannabis and all other psychedelics combined.  After all, dopamine psychosis is basically self induced schizophrenia.

they can also cause/aggravate mental illness used in the same context,
you can show me all the documentaries  you want but all that suggests to
me is that you seek out and believe the ones that corroborate what you
already believe, if I showed you a documentary that showed that
marijuana actually caused cancer and psychedelics cause mental illnesses
in some people would you be inclined to believe it?

PSychedelics can trigger mental illness but can then heal it. MOST mental illnesses come from something in the subconsious (Basic Perinatal MAtrice). You should all read "psychology of the future" by Stanislav Grof.

heres a good vid of ayahuasca in the working. nothing scientifical but sometimes science isnt the answer. 


Marijuana curing cancer; It was hard to find scientific evidence of this until recently, Rick Simpsons story is still a good watcher.

Back in the 50's or 60's, im not sure which one, scientists found THC killed cancer, but it was the reefer madness time so it was just dismissed.

In todays western culture that has taken voer most of the world, it is hard not to be arrogant bout drugs and psychedelic but one must look at it from different perspective. Dont you think if ayahuasca fucked shit up they would have stopped using it. People whoe come out of those ceremonies are happy and claim everyone should go through it. Do you think they are lying? For one, those ceremonie SUCK, no fat, sugar, meat or salt for 2 weeks plus purging and clensing, you are on your own in the rainforest with noone to trust but a few shamans and S. Americans. People sometimes want to give up and leave but once they stick it out, they come back with huge sucess stories.

I for one should be the one being the most arrogant considering my last experience with psyches were scary, I have EVERY reason to be against them but im not because I know better.

lol well someone is a little arrogant, Im just posting it because its interesting. I have books on psychedelics that I read constantly. That video is simply an example of ayahusca being used. To be honost, your acting like you still got ur head between ur ass...... i jsut post a video and you go off calling it retarded. I know the poentials of psychedelics and rituals and I have tons of evidence.

it triggered drug induced psychosis for me back when i was 18,it was the 1st thing i did...never smoked ciggs or drank before it.Literally i saw in frames...sorta like in stop motion animation and i wasnt myself AT ALL..scariest time i ever had.

It wasnt laced either,my 2 other friends had some of the blunt and were totally fine.

This is purely an assumption. All the medical proffesionals i have spoken to do not believe i will develop schitzophrenia or psychotic symptoms if i do not smoke marijuana again.
