I'm really hoping one of the "news magazines" (i.e. Dateline, 20/20, Primetime, whatever else) decides to dedicate 20 or 30 minutes to this.

But marijuana causes schizophrenia and causes black men to rape white women. We can't possibly decriminalize or legalize it knowing this info.

But that's why I like it. You forgot that it also causes young white men to act like or want to be black men, causing them to then put loud speakers in their crappy cars, wear their pants around their knees and say stuff like, "That shiznit iz tha Chronic necka" to their other white friends. Seriously.

Wow, you make a strong point. I may have to re-evaluate my views on legalization.

Thank you. I hate the "Pothead" "weed" "Snoop Dogg" culture. Here's where I see the difference, bear with me here. At the end of the Katt Williams special (and this guy is as "pimped out" as you can really get in America in a very real way) a special in which he advises "poor and sad people to get them some weed cause it will make your life better" ( I agree that the herb is a PERFECT medicine in it's own right) Katt gets very clearly annoyed with Snoop for going off in a pot smoking and trash talking tirade. I had to show my wife twice before she could see him getting tired of it, and so were we. Katt gives one of the best and funniest true life descriptions of what is going on with the herb in America today, and I swear you can see in his eyes at the end of the show, "Damn I wish Snoop wouldn't get so high". That's sad. For some it's a beautiful and God given pain reliever, life enjoying, be in touch with love and the nature that you came from and are a part of feeling inducer, and not to mention a great time. For others it's an excuse to get wasted and act like a fool or somebody you wish you could be but never had the guts to be and now you're high and tough like 50 Cent or some other rapper WHO OPENLY ADMITS THAT THEY STAY AWAY FROM DRUGS.... BUT THE "WHITE KIDS" WANT TO HEAR ABOUT IT, and hey "I need to get paid". But of course the white kids don't hear about that because THEY DON'T F*CKING READ!!!! I love it. Gotta go back to the vap and chill.
PEACE

Damn illiterate white kids.

Anyway, the article is a good step, and I'm ever amazed at the pure ignorance of the government policies, while simultaneously they're spouting about the ignorance of pot smokers.

Most of them don't understand that the trailer park and the "hood" are basically the same place. Drugs, ignorance, booze, STD's, guns, everyone knows someone either in or about to go to jail, it's crazy. They had crack, we have bathtub meth. They had Good Times, we have Jerry Springer. They had James Brown, we have 50 Cent. I mean it's a horrible deal. A little good crack, some James and a young Miss Jackson on Good Times is a heaven of a lot better than Tweak with Drano in it (or who knows what else) Jerry Springer's admittedly staged yet still adored in trashy circles crap fest, and 50 talking about the dope he's sellin', and the ho's he's been with (last Esquire magazine interview said 3 in 15 months) his spinnin' rims, blah blah blah. White people created the ghetto, and now a LOT of them are enslaved in it. At least the blacks knew they were getting hosed. I need to stop looking out my windows when I'm trying to chill. Back to the Vap.

Maybe it's just this way in Alaska, but you sure as hell aren't gonna hear 50 Cent "music" (term used VERY loosely) playing in any of the trailer parks around here.

Let's not forget ICP and SlipKnot. NO offense to anyone who likes these artists and forms of music, I like a little of each of them myself. I however never did when I could have, nor do I now, drive around in a crappy car with plastic Wal Mart bought "spinners" on it with clothes on that I stole from somebody else in school (and everybody knows it and thinks it's weird but I lie to myself and say that they are "jealous" that I am "this dope" those "bizntches" don't "understand" that "game like this" is hard to come by.) "They'll see" Maybe my theory is true. Maybe after believing it my whole life, maybe it is true that Wyoming is Hell on earth. Can't wait to move. No more windows.

I don't like SlipKnot, but I'm pretty sure they don't have jack shit to do with what you just said. ICP and SlipKnot are completely unrelated.

If you say War is Peace; Freedom is Slavery; Ignorance is Strength long enough the majority of people will believe it. Imagine how connected you would be if you had never smoked marijuana or dropped mushrooms. Examine the who benefits from keeping harmless substances illegal and making political prisoners out of those who partake and fight for those substances and what those benefits are and it all becomes clear.

Yeah, sorry about that. I just live in a crappy white neighborhood, and this seems to be all that I hear. I hate to see kids just all the way sucked into a lifestyle i.e. Thug Life or the juggalo thing and you can tell that they don't really have any idea of what's going on and follow blindly. I know one dude who's about as level headed as you can get but he loves his ICP, sees it for what it is, and that's cool. But I know a 16 y/o kid and his friends who somehow seem to believe that they (ICP) want you to cut each other up in "backyard wrestling". I don't hold ICP responsible of course, but it IS weird to see children following like that. We were all trying to follow the dudes who were cool and got laid, not slicing each other up like Freddy Kruger. Times have changed I guess. Sorry to rant off topic...

Oh what groundbreaking reporting. Most people already believe that our national marijuana policy is misguided, this story is a bit redundant? Our marijuana policy isn't misguided, our drug policy is misguided.
