pine green

In my chamber I have pinning. But in certain spots around the edges i have a dark pine green color. no pins are forming in those spots. Is it wise to scoop it out? To prevent it from spreading. I cant upload a picture cause i scooped out the worst of what could be visible.Should I continue with the scooping?

Next time, ask first, then scoop. Or don't scoop, actually.

Your best bet is to remove the tub immediately. If you choose not to, you may have some luck with covering the affected area with a paste of salt and water. But scooping it just throws spores around, spreading the green to new areas and new tubs- so don't scoop.

I dump alcohol on it, that part of the tub is usually toast.  But by that time, the whole tub is probably toast.  It spreads fuckin fast, by the time you see green, you are already too late.
