UW-Madison. As of now I want I want to major in business and minor in philosophy and then go to law school.

the only reason im doing business is that if i decide to say fuck law school i have something to fall back on. but i pretty much just wanna go 2 law school.

Then i will live in Southern California on the beach and have a grip of drugs all the time (basically do what coaster does but be rich as well)

Cool.  I tried to get in there, but they wouldnt take me.  :blush:  I didnt really expect them too though, it was a long shot.

edit - Im not sure about business as a fall back major... you sure about that?  The market seems very over saturated with MBAs and having just a BS in business might not be too helpful.  Well, you have time to figure it out.

this is so retarded. so my original flight was delayed like 3 hrs, and i had to get it changed cuz i would have missed my connecting flight

now my new flight is delayed another 2hrs

i will have been sitting at the airport for around 6 hours today, that is if i make this flight and my 2nd connecting flight hasnt already left

fuck u american airlines

I dont agree.  They are excellent if you learned alot of skill while getting one, or appreciate esoteric liberal education.  But a BS alone does not make you marketable.  I have a BS and I am not marketable at all.  Im still glad I got it, but I didnt get it for a job.

I'm sorry, let me rephrase.

Almost any bachelors degree from a good university will greatly increase your chances of getting a job/earning higher pay(depending on position applied). Other factors that come into play: work experience, being multi-lingual, not having a criminal record, and GPA through college.

C's for degrees = for fuckups.

Nearly all for entry level positions for no experience having grads.  Like he said, lots of places dont want people with the 'Cs get degrees' degree.  The importance of your grades and your institution falls off drastically as time goes on and you gain real experience though.
