Getting spores from your growbags?

Ok I have a question, I have mush already growing in a sterile grow bag. I am trying to make spore syringes. In one of the bags, the entire cake is COVERED with spores and they are caked on the sides and bottom of bag. My question is, can I spray distilled water into the bag, making all the spores gather in the water in the corner of the bag, and take a sterile syringe and suck that up into the syringe? If I do this, also, how do I sterilize the entire syringe? any feed back would be awesome. Thanks

no just make a spore print from one of the mushrooms. the way you are saying is asking for contamination.

you cant sterilize spores it will kill them.

I think there will be, I have some that I picked today, but they are drying, can I make one from them? but it looks like the spores that already dropped.....But there is no way to use the spores in the bags?

make a cloned live culture or two and also print 'em. then your sorted.

Im really new at this, I dont know how to do that. I have 5 grow bags...Any suggestions?  I am trying to get spores so I can make a casing system. I have 20 lbs of organic rye, and everything else I need. I just need spores...Help?

Ok you can NOT use the spores in the bag, you also probably can't make prints from the one you are already drying.

Are you anticipating a second flush? If so you can just print those mushrooms.

OR to do a live culture you could do an LC. I've recently started doing that, and it is much easier than it seems.

BTW are you a female? I only ask because of the name and us MycoChicks have to stick together.

there is no way to use the spores in the bag next flush pick a mushroom cut off cap put on tin foil and cover with a cup and then you have a sterile print

I am a female, im 25. I do anticipate another flush, How do I know when the cap is ready to pick and make a spore print. I will do what you all suggest and make a print.

it it true that I can take a mason jar, Sterilize it, and put the cap on the inside of the lid of the jar, and let the spores drop onto that, and add distilled water and shake. And suck that into a syringe?
