Concentric rings from non-temperature fluctuation. (Agar)

Maybe someone with more knowledge about these rings could shed some light on my question...

All of those dishes are stored in the same environment and location. The medium is MEA. They are all the same strain and the temperature does not fluctuate. All of my searches have brought me to the consensus that this occurrence is caused only by temperature fluctuation. However, it's been hard for me to believe that so I did an experiment here. All the dishes contain a different "strain" with the exception of 2 a.p.e cultures so there are 3 different "strains" all together and 4 unique cultures all together. The only "strain" showing these concentric rings is the dish labled EQ.

Also, I have had previous dishes with these rings only appear on half of the culture...

whats with peoples fascination with taking pictures in the dark with a light shinging at or behind the thing there taking a picture off.

get that it a bright room and take a picture

I don't have a fascination of taking pictures in the dark with a light behind it. I am taking pictures of the cultures inside the petri-dishes. Can you not see the picture well? I see the cultures just fine.

I think he trying to high light the ring on the EQ plate

btw i had similar patterns of growth but I assumed it was to do with age almost like a tree trunk. Good question i wouldn't mind knowing.

I could see it being generations but then again it also seems like it's caused by something.
