I have 4 successful agar dishes out of 6. I was thinking about just tranferring the mycellia into steril halfpint jars, but I was wondering if any of you have a better practice. If so please post it here along with ingredients. Thanks a bunch everyone whos helped me to get this far.

Oh yeah how many half pint jars per agar dish I heard you can use 3 half pint jars per dish.

Definitely use a shakeable substrate, like rye or birdseed for this.

Should I just get some birdseed and lay the mycellia right on top? How much water to birdseed should I use? What the hell kind of birdseed do I get? And is the mycellia strong enough now to withstand contamination at this stage?
