Flossing

I'm not here to sound like anyone's dad or anything, but I'm curious as to how many of you all floss reguraly. I used to do it from time to time until a year ago, and I never thought it did a whole lot, but I feel COMPLETELY different now.

I don't smoke, rarely drink, and have a very healthy diet. I brush 2-5 times a day with a sonic care brush and oil swish on a daily basis, and I still get lots of nasty crap out from between my teeth. I MUST floss a couple of times a day or I get to feeling like there's moss growing in my mouth.

So with that said

yes, yes. i floss almost once a day. i was slackin for the last few months but i'm pickin it back up..tired of my gums bleeding. and yeah, it's terrible to let that shit accumulate in there and grow bacteria

You brush your teeth 5 times a day? Sounds a bit neurotic to me.

I floss and brush once a day, before I go to bed. And I've yet to have a cavity the 21 years of my life.

I brush/floss once after breakfast and then again after dinner before I go to bed.

I'll do an additional brush/floss if I'm working or going out to socialize.

I hate floss.

I love those things. I hate it when I only have one on me and it breaks and I'm only halfway done flossing. I feel unfulfilled and totally cheated. Like I never should've started to begin with. Then I blame myself, cry, and beat my woman when I get home.

I actually went to the dentist yesterday to find out my gums are infected...

All this because I don't usually floss until recently, and was not brushing correctly. I'll bet a lot of people here have infected gums as well(if they bleed when you floss, that means they are infected).

I usually brush a couple of times a day and floss about once a week.  I need to up the ante I think.

i started about a year ago when my dentist x rays showed bone loss in my jaw. she said all i had to do is floss. no one ever pushed flossing on me before. i'm slacking on it recently  :awedrugs:
