Maybe I'm missing it but I can't see where it says it was her first trip (or maybe I'm the blind one?).  It doesn't really even sound like he was "in charge" of the whole thing or was even that good of friends with her.  She was probably all "lol drugs are kewl" and just tried to be cool about it... ended up flipping her lid when the mushrooms said "fuck you."

Yah, I'd like to know what happened to her afterwards. I assume she was fine after coming down right? Did she say what was going through her head at the time?

I actually didn't recall him saying that either, but someone else made a comment implying it was her first time so I just assumed he must have said that. My mistake though.

Damn, thats what it seems like usually happens. People expecting to have pure fun on mushrooms and the mushrooms decide to FUCK THEIR SHIT UP instead.

You have the most fun by not having fun, in my experience. Just let it be.

4 grams on a first trip is not a good fucking idea.

You have no idea how someones going to react. Some people are realy sensitive to begin with and that would send them into scary space.

If that was my first dose that could have happened to me. 1.3 had me trippen balls, heavy room breathing patterns on walls, seeing ghosts in the carpet type shit.

I hope she is ok.

Based on that reaction, i can only recomend a low dose next time 1 gram and see how it goes. but to be honest i dont know if she would want to.

I took my first trip to disneyland when I was about 6 or so. I was fine.

But yeah, I took 4 grams my first time and BOYYYYYYY was I gone.  Didn't run around and shit.  I mostly just sat down and thought/saw a bunch of crazy things.  Thankfully I had pencil/crayons and paper and wrote a lot of things down.  I am sure that helped me from freaking out too bad

i'd say her history and (mind)set wasn't screened enough, and the setting not controlled enough, for a high first dose to be responsible.

safety guidelines for ~5g doses on non-experienced users: http://www.csp.org/psilocybin/HopkinsHallucinogenSafety2008.pdf

boils down to, after screening for genetic or personal-historical risk factors: peaceful environment with sensory deprivation (laying down with eye mask, chill music), lots of personal support (e.g., hand-holding), 100% supervision of movements, etc.

Yeah, I would of never got the ambulance and police involved with something like that...There was no need.

When it comes to something like this there isn't much you can do, especially if the person is so far detached from reality that communicating is impossible so you can't talk em' down. If anything i would have sat there with another friend and held her down the entire time until she came down...Or go into a secure room and sit in there with her the entire time, trying to make the environment as chill as possible...



But that's just me and :2cents:

yea shes fine. i havent talked to her but i hear she doesnt remember a thing. her face is all fucked up. when we were holding her down she was smearing her face on the concrete. u could hear her grinding grit with her teeth. that mixed with the head bangin...i bet shes prety ugly now.i didnt give her 4 grams. she ate some then ate some more after that. when she ate more she was ok. and she said she had tripped a couple times. i believe her. she ground it up and put it in peanut butter. and she brought extra clothes to stay the night. she knew shed be fucked up....and shes 23....old enough to know better

what were you guys watching, sounds like whatever it was wasnt a great thing to watch while tripping.

If someone starts freeking out, sometimes good to remove some stimulus like bright lights and go into a quiet room with boring walls, well for me if i have plains walls and no textured surfaces, things calm down for me.
