i also saw a lot of trichocereus pachanoi, and pretty sure some peruvianus's
i couldnt find any brigesii but i wasnt there for too long.

im planning on moving out to this area next year. the owner of the nursery told me they would hook me up with a job here

that crested saguaro is the shit man. i'd love one of those. i think the top one is myrtillo monstrose. don't know but its an educated guess. all of them are kick ass. and good luck on getting a job there.:thumbup:

1: Lophocereus Schottii Monstrose
2: Trichocereus Spachianus
3a: Stetsonia Coryne
3b: Cylindropuntia Acanthocarpa or some other Cylindropuntia Spp.

And I think a see a T. Peruvianoid behind the Spach. :wink:

To further id the Lophocereus, above as far as I can tell -

trees = Lophocereus schottii monstrose f. obesa
ferrel_human = Lophocereus schottii monstrose f. miecklianus

I thought there was a slight difference.


Here is an interesting read on them.  Lophocereus

There is one at work that I swear looks like it is about to flower.  I wish I had taken a picture of it.
