Tasting a whale from the sea is a lot worse than tasting one from land.

I grew up in Alaska and have had whale blubber a few times and it's garbage. To make it even worse, the natives would pour fish oil over it. I wanna vomit just from typing this.

Yeah, you're missing something.  The whales numbers are dangerously low for their population to continue.  Most of the worlds countries have signed anti-whaling agreements, including Japan and Iceland, but then they go and kill them anyway in the name of "tradition".

The whales are in decline and the Japs come into Southern waters to hunt under the guise of "scientific research" only to sell the meat in the markets in Japan. They are blatant liers and obviously have no respect towards the views of more civilized cultures that find whaling abhorrent and have signed documents making it illegal.

I say good on the Sea Shepard, Australia and New Zealand governments are too impotent to physically do something about it so it is up to individuals to take matters into there own hands. I applaud these people  :congrats:


My only fear is that some one will have to lose there life before the international governments make a stand and take Japan on regarding this issue.
