monster rye cake!

So I had this monotub I made from a kitchen garbage can that was half filled with rye. I put a casing layer on it and waited. It seemed to be stalling for the longest time. But pins appeared yesterday on the top and the sides. I didn't want side-pinning and it seemed to be pretty solid, so i decided to pop it out and stick it in with my BRF cakes. check it out, I hope to get some behemoths....



here's my setup... for now. renovations to come
some potential mothers, grown from seed, hopefully turning into nice bonsai mothers.

why have you coverd all the holes with micropore tape, thats seriously restricting fresh air

i put way too many holes in the FC so i covered them to at least allow air to escape easily, I have an air pump going into the chamber.

i know this is way off topic
but did u know that foil reflects less light than a plain white wall

foil light reflection is diffussed and somewhere between 70-75% reflective

plain white reflects up to 90 %

just a tidbit i picked up from the cannabis grow bible

but anyways that cake is giant lol cant wait to see how it fruits

Take some of that tape off.  That cake looks cool though, it'll be cool to see pins growing out from all over it. 

On a side note, I don't know much about growing green, but I do know what aluminum foil is a poor reflector of light.  The white walls behind the foil would probably be just as good.  Also, if you plan on getting that plant up and going, you'll need more light.  Unless that's a HPS light, which I doubt since it's so close to your plant.

  The best book ever written about growing pot!  I was about to tell him to take the foil down before you did.  Seriously kid, this is true.  You should look into that book if you really wanna grow.  It tells you everything from hydroponics, to cuttings, to making hash...  great stuff!

like I said, it's a work in progress. I'm super poor right now and just wanted to get a head start. Nastos thanks for the advice, off comes the foil.

lol np cannabis grow bible is the shit

and as for light a cfl will work ur buds just wont be super dense but it will deffinatley save money on your electric bill
