Extracting Silymarin from Milk Thistle?

Does anyone know how to extract Silymarin from Milk Thistle? They sell it in tablets which is 80% Silymarin. I just wanted to give it a go myself if it wasn't too hard.

Looks like silymarin is insoluble in water and slightly soluble in methanol (toxic) which makes it somewhat impractical.  Your better off buying the extract especially if its for combating the effects of an accidental death cap ingestion.

Thanks for the info mate as I couldn't find any info about extractions from this plant at all.

If anyone else has any other info though I would like to hear. Thanks
