Identification Request
    #10820657 -

Habitat:

These were found on a lawn near my cabin which is surrounded by a woodsy area. Found in Northern California about 2 hours from San Francisco.

Gills:

The Gills are a very dark Brown.

Stem:
Length, diameter, color, texture, hollow/solid, thin/thick, etc.
The stems of the group range anywhere from a Centimeter to an three inches, although it may be from being picked before reaching maturity.
They are an off white color and semi hollow until they started to wilt, now they are dark brown and twiggy.

Cap:

The cap is Brown and spherical. Very Smooth sort of like a typical mushroom when it comes to texture. about a centimeter in diameter.

Spore print color:
Black.

Bruising:
Bruises blackish brown, but no major bruising has occurred.

Other information:
The mushrooms were picked earlier today, and within the hour had started to wilt. I stored them in a paper bag, as advised. These may be immature, but I am not sure. These are only a few samples that I took to have identified. There are a lot more in the ground and with rain and overcast weather predicted for this area for the next few days I have a strong feeling they might get bigger. Thanks for your help.

Here is a link to all the pictures since the image tags didnt seem to be working.

Thank you Alan.

I looked them up and these look very immature, or atleast I think so. Any thoughts when it comes to that matter??
