What are these things on my penis? (Warning: pics of my penis)

These things showed up maybe 6 months ago and haven't changed at all since.  No pain, irritation, or itching.  They feel just like my skin except the inside of the bumps seems hardened.







I found something called Molluscum_contagiosum ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Molluscum_contagiosum )  which seems almost exactly like what I have, except that Molluscum contagiosum seem to be dome shaped.  The bump on the right side is pretty much dome shaped, but the one on the left is like a short, malformed tower that you could hardly call a dome.

The last sexual contact I had before these popped up was maybe 6 months prior, so I doubt it's any sort of STD.

I believe you guessed right on the molluscum diagnosis. The lumps are not always perfect dome shapes, they can vary. The fact that they're painless, hardened bumps makes it even more likely to be the case.

I had molluscum on my abdomen right above my penis a few years ago, and like the wiki page says, they typically disappear naturally within a year, as long as you have a healthy immune system.

You probably shouldn't touch the bumps, as you can easily re-infect yourself in other areas as well as other people.

I call HPV, aka warts.
they can show up months, or even YEARS after being exposed to the virus.

After much research I'm convinced there's no way that it is HPV.

Cutting off the sores will only expose the inner fluids to your skin, spreading the virus. Not to mention you're just begging for a secondary infection, which is only going to complicate things.

If you have insurance, you can get them frozen off at a pretty low cost. There are other alternative treatments as well if you look around on the web.

I would not do that, you could start bleed alot more than you think. You should see a doctor about it, find out exactly what it is.

Well I cut them off.  They came off nice and clean, very little pain and very little blood.

Rubbed the areas down with rubbing alcohol, and for good measure, cauterized each one with red hot needle nose pliers.  I'm not worried about secondary infection...I get cuts this size on a regular basis and I've never had any sort of significant infection.

Believe it or not, I'm not into genital mutilation.  Sorry no video or pics, I loaned my camera to my sister. :frown:
