I think that extended and periodic breaks are a pot smokers best friend.

As someone who is into Lucid Dreaming, and will have them naturally quite often, I am left with a choice: have a chance at virtual reality in my dreams at night, or get baked during the day. These days I am starting to lean towards the former, as getting baked seems to bring more and more anxiety.

I've never noticed any mental "withdrawals" except I always have nightmares when I lay off the grass  :uhoh:

I get the most fucked dreams EVER when I stop vaping, even for one day.

Before I started smoking in my teenage years, I had insane lucid dream abilities, multiple hours, 5-6+ dreams per night all lucid. Perfect recall (had literally 10,000 pages of descript journal), perfect dream control... it was a very deep world, it was my whole life pretty much.

Didn't vape yesterday (Sat), last night was insane, I don't know if I can handle dreaming anymore, its like 10 movies every night... there's a porno, there's a comedy, there's a music dream, I get killed a few times, I kill a few people, people from my childhood start popping up, suddenly I'm back in school, then I'm in another country at 50 years old, WTF.

I get no god damn rest.

Seriously though... how is this a pro? Why do you want to remember insignificant events?
Aren't they insignificant for a reason.. to forget them?

I'm just arguing for the sake of arguing. I'm a firm believer in taking pot breaks.
But only because my tolerance gets too high and I don't get as stoned.

ok I guess insignificant was the wrong word choice. Rather, small details of things that happen (such as hearing a song and wanting to remember the name so I can download it) or other things of that nature..not sure what i'm trying to say. im drinking captain morgans private stock and shit its wonderful on my sober mind! lol

haha well i really doont like alcohol and im not much of a drinker at all.
BUT

we're at the lake and my sisters new boyfriend offered to buy us alcohol, and ive had captain morgan a few times mixed with coke and its great. I have a really weak stomach so usually my limit is a couple beers, Ive only been really drunk maybe 5 times in my life..
but this captain morgan tastes great and i can stomach it as long as its heavily mixed with a soda beverage. Im kinda glad my stomach is such a bitch because im never gonna be able to become an alcoholic, so the rare times I do drink its always fun.
edit: yea yea, 1,001 posts! sweet

Background and Purpose— Cannabidiol has been reported to be a neuroprotectant, but the neuroprotective mechanism of cannabidiol remains unclear. We studied the neuroprotective mechanism of cannabidiol in 4-hour middle cerebral artery (MCA) occlusion mice.

Methods— Male MCA occluded mice were treated with cannabidiol, abnormal cannabidiol, anandamide, methanandamide, cannabidiol plus capsazepine, and cannabidiol plus WAY100135 before and 3 hours after MCA occlusion. The infarct size was determined after 24 hours (2,3,5-triphenyltetrazolium chloride staining). Cerebral blood flow (CBF) was measured at, before and 1, 2, 3, and 4 hours after MCA occlusion.

Results— Cannabidiol significantly reduced the infarct volume induced by MCA occlusion in a bell-shaped curve. Similarly, abnormal cannabidiol but not anandamide or methanandamide reduced the infarct volume. Moreover, the neuroprotective effect of cannabidiol was inhibited by WAY100135, a serotonin 5-hydroxytriptamine1A (5-HT1A) receptor antagonist but not capsazepine a vanilloid receptor antagonist. Cannabidiol increased CBF to the cortex, and the CBF was partly inhibited by WAY100135 in mice subjected to MCA occlusion.

Conclusions— Cannabidiol and abnormal cannabidiol reduced the infarct volume. Furthermore, the neuroprotective effect of cannabidiol was inhibited by WAY100135 but not capsazepine, and the CBF increased by cannabidiol was partially reversed by WAY100135. These results suggested that the neuroprotective effect of cannabidiol may be related to the increase in CBF through the serotonergic 5-HT1A receptor.

Yes marijuana withdrawal can be real if you are a heavy chronic user but its no reason to go drink. Hell, theres alot of recreational social drugs you can do that arent that bad for you
