but I was curious at how quickly a one month grow might theoretically produce.

Nothing.  Where ever you got that  info saying two to three weeks from inoculation to harvest for copes is incorrect.  They're no faster than cubes, and in fact usually slower.

These pins are about two months after inocculation.
So good luck with only one month and if you are not an experienced mushroom grower then I would not even try to grow pans.

really well done cubes, started from liquid culture, can go from inoculation to harvest in 5-6 weeks.  that's optimal everything, of course.

liquid culture is an instant head start - if you have it already. if its your first grow and you've got spores, well, get started but make some LC as well for next time. shaking your jars at the right time (when doing grains) is helpful.

moisture is key for rapid growth, probably more so than temperature.  get it just right and colonization happens quickly (in cakes if you're doing cakes, or in your grain AND bulk sub when doing bulk).  too wet and it slows down.  if anything, erring on the side of dry within reason is faster... but dry is generally not desirable in the big picture!

growing isn't a race though.  it takes practice and an experienced eye to know when you've got that moisture content just right... and since everybody's methods and materials vary a little, you'll have to learn the ropes with your own set of "ingredients"...

of course, a grow-wrecking screwup is the biggest setback.  so worry about doing it right your first time, and not doing it quickly.

Your only chance is sclerotia... but rushing nature is a pain in the ass. First grows seem to take longer in general... dunno why... just seem to fuck w/ a n00b's patience.

Still, it is your only hope.
