Would this work LC question

ok let's say i used half of a spore syringe, could i suck up some sterilized honey water into the syringe and have the spores germinate in the syringe so next time i would be nocking with myc instead of spores?

i guess what im asking is can spores germinate in a syringe if a few nutes are added or is this just recipe for contam? thanx

maybe, but theres no gas exchange in a syringe, why not build a LC and squirt half a CC of spoers into that?

then if it messes up, you still have your syringe to try again.

yeah im just thinking on saving space i already got more jars than i know what to do with  lol and iff i was just gonna make a syringe in 2 weeks anyways why not have it already idk i just like the idea of it i guess

i have an lc already going but i got 2 more syringes on the way so i was thinking of using half now and half later and just thought maybe it would speed up considerably if myc was already forming in the syringe

Easy LC for you; Light(clear karo syrup) at 4% by volume.  So for ever 100 ml of distilled H2O add 4 ml of karo syrup.  Make a filtered lid (micro pore tape, tyvek, filter disk etc) cover with foil pressure cook let cool then knock it up with a couple ccs of spores, during that same pressure cook have some prepared brf or grain jars in there to and knock them up also to  take full advantage of your sterilization!

Noted you have LC already..  So I state this I have had LC in a syringe that I didnt use up and it did indeed continue to grow.  Cant remember if I used again and it was clean but remember for sure new growth.  If you have more on the way and LC just try it, right why not?

I have always had no luck getting spores to germinate karo and water... you really need a LC to knock up some  bigger jar of karo-water(future bulk LC)....

Step 1. Inoculate a small PF-jar successfully..
Step 2. Wait for full colonization..
Step 3. squirt a syringe full of distilled water in corner of jar..
Step 4. Shake jar around..
Step 5. Collect mycelium water back in syringe...

Now you are ready to knock up that big Jar of karo-water for bulk LC.

yeah u guys i know how to make myc water and lcs.. what im asking if i have a syringe half full of spores can i suck up some honey or karo water  to germinate the left over spores in the syringe

and yes i have myc forming in my lc but its b+ i have 3 other strains of syringes and i dont need a whole jar of lc of each

all the teks posted are great ones but not what im looking for i guess theres only one way to find out lol
