I get some stuff from Home Depot that is pretty fine and it works okay. It's not quite a powder, the grains are around an eight of an inch in size. I use it with finch seed and then case and have had sucess. Some tech's don't even use verm so I don't think it's that big of a deal.

sift the verm in a sifter with a tight mesh.This will leave you with the larger verm but get rig of the verm that is powdered

Nahh, my friend started with chunky verm and got disturbed when his new source had finer verm. Now he prefers the finer verm.

A friend of a friend told my friend that he's used all sizes, the powdery stuff is fine.

yeah..i already made some jars...i think it will be even better for the verm. seal to keep out contams..its harder for air to penetrate. Anyways..im trying to make honey myc. jars and its been 2 days since innoc. They should start growing in the next week or so. I only have 1 cc of sporewater left..so i hope it works.
