The only comment on your first point is that selflessness-selfishness has much to do with cognitive development - prerational-rational-transrational - without having to rely on some mysterious religious basis for morality.

I agree that there are other social processes involved with boy-mother interactions, but again, social forces are derivative of psychological processes including the psychosexual. These are universals which seem to be built into psychophysical mechanisms. The incest taboo and then social exogamy has direct biological implications among human mammals (whereas other animals may reproduce with their parents and siblings without the same grave genetic consequences). Then again, I differentiate the human mammal from the human being.

On your third point: tongue-in-cheek man, tongue-in-cheek. Practically everyone on this forum has such issues with religion that I just couldn't resist baiting you a little. Listen, I've become more "cognitive" across the lifespan, and I cannot but become more correspondingly 'religious' in important ways. This is not to say very ritualistic, or dogmatic, or intolerant, or any of the things that many Shroomerites attribute to religion. I have become more Aware of the Transcendent, of Synchronicity - under which I can subcategorize 'miracles,' and the so-called 'siddhis' or psychic powers described in Indian thought, as well as developing insight into the I Ching and magick. The artifacts of religion have their merit artistically, whereas the theology of religion, I will agree, requires immediate elimination, just as J. S. Spong entitled his book: Christianity Must Change or Die. On the other hand, some religions can be left well enough alone because they do not place ridiculous demands upon the reason of human beings, they keep their myths clear about being myths while explaining the importance of myth, and they teach effective methods for introducing transcendence into otherwise mundane existence.

Lastly, I was basing my understanding of psychological 'ontogeny recapitulating phylogeny' on Jungian, Erich Neumann's classic The Origin and History of Consciousness, whose work influenced me during grad school where my advisor was (synchronistically for me) the only Jungian analyst in Maryland, and he had graduated from the same program in human development in which he was teaching me.

So true and yet we live is such a "morality based culture". Now isn't that interesting. Maybe if we gave sex it's due instead of vilifying it the pornographers wouldn't get so much business and we wouldn't have to get all up in it over this subject. :shrug:

Pornography won't go away because it feeds into different types of human slavery, and as you and I will agree no doubt, a majority of people do not want to be free. Take the B&D or S&M fetishes. I think Stan Grof has this whole phenomenon pegged when he ties it to a recapitulation of a painful yet powerfully polmorphous sexuality during what he calls Basic Perinatal Matrix III. That is, when contractions of the uterus are squeezing, binding, crushing, suffocating and sometimes strangulating the neonate with an umbilical. The tight rubber, slick patent leather, (highly fragrant) outfits replicate the constriction of movement in the birth canal. Blinders, ball-gags and breathing hoses cut off air, pain being applied by dull heavy implements, or sharp instruments can replicate rib-crushing pressures, forcep births, all manner of BPM III associations. And we are (at least from my own revivification of my birth) orgasmically sexualized from head to toe, not just in the genitals.

People don't know about these Grofian explanations for their deviant desires, neither do they care to know if knowing means they will then have to grow beyond their unconscious cravings to return to that phase of intrauterine life. The porn industry at its kinkiest simply maintains the status quo for all these pathetic people. It's not just sexual repression from Puritanical roots at work here. Master-slave relationships permeate the porn culture. In my limited experience, women really do not smile when you shoot a load of cum into their eye. Infantile males want to hurt mommy, and then expect to receive unconditional love from mommy with a warm smile (and an open mouth). More psychosexually stunted males for porn to cater to.

It's not until humans wake up and actually WANT to understand themselves, with one psychological tool or another, that the perpetuation of sexual slavery on-screen will fade away. Excuse me for being a pessimist, my blood type is 'B-Negative' - so I am, but humankind is not gonna wake up in some Christian rapture or New Age revolution of consciousness. The Awakened, the Buddhas of the world (or those who so aspire) are always gonna be a tiny percentage of the multitudes.

Well I guess I agree with you a little bit.

Acting out dominating and submissive scenarios between loving individuals along with a little cum shot can be pretty exciting for both if that's what you're into.

That's a big difference then one partner having no say in the matter either because they are physically forced or emotionally battered which unfortunately is a vast majority of the porn industry.

ya know. IME with people who have been sexually abused, they often have greater psychological problems from religion than from their abuse and that's non-consensual sexual-abuse not this frame of underage consensual behavior. Nobody has ever talked to me about (consensual) stat-rape seriously ever and I never expect anyone to ever, because nobody has ever had any psychological problems from stat-rape.

This sort of post from your part kinda makes me think you are a tool of sorts. First off these people have no idea about the legal repercussions of child-pornography and should definitely be protected by some sort of minority status in any civilized society. Second of all I think the school surveillance here seems to be excessive and honestly if not at school where do you expect these people to do these things? Tis no wonder they are chased into the arms of "sexual predators" as you call them among the natural reasons as they are the only ones who control the places to fuck.
