i hate when people hear that mushrooms are called "drug" they are convinced that its bad for you... how do you convince people that it really is not bad if done smart?

Too many people are too far gone to understand.. the whole War and drugs and Drug hype bullshit that comes with it.. kinda ruins that

i say your best bet is to show facts and make some stories up

anythin to get them outta your hair.. and to understand. hell i managed to convince my hardcore religious and Anti-drug parents to let me shroom so i could understand my mind and discover what i truly believe on terms of religion..

just say Nostrodamus used to shroom when he predicted the meteor showers and future events..

Tell them its not a drug, but a natural fungi used for meditation and mind exploration and also point out indians use peyote for those reasons.
Dont share the shrooms with friends, dont sell any and trip only in the house and youll be fine

Mushrooms are drugs moron. You really say some of the stupidest things I have ever heard sometimes, I swear.

The fact is, mushrooms are drugs, just like asprin, weed, or cocaine. Don't worry about people's misconceptions of mushrooms. As long as you are cool with what you are doing, and you are using responsibly, then you are straight.

thank you shrooms44 good thing i asked if i'd be fine.... ok i'm gonna shroom in other places than my damn house... or "my bathroom with the lights out" ... but your right about the mind exploration...i was just trying to convince my girlfriend, that i was not gonna get carried away if i grew and that i'm not gonna be some raging "mushroom head" that i strickly had mind expansion purposes only

shrooms are just a natural occuring drug. If you over use them they can fuck you up just like any other drug(even if its not permanent)

shrooms arent drugs in the sense that they do not produce a set sequence of effects or chemical reactions in the brain...if you take heroin or weed, you know whats gonna happen but not if you take shrooms

anyway,  its so funny when people try to tell me random facts about drugs that are way fucking off.  They swear they are right, because they know, meaning: i heard it from some jackass who wanted to pretend to know somthing, altering a source of the same context. and on and on.  These stores and misinformations are passed down by people who really arent interested in the truth.  When i hear somthing from somebody that sounds off, i go and look that shit up right away.  I dont wanna be running around telling people bull shit :mad: baaaah!  :grin: phew

if your girl is a logical person you could show her some of the countless scientific journal`s on the benifit`s of psychedelics.there was alot published before 1966 and mostly positive. there are studies going on right now as we speak in this country(though not enough).the one in arizona involving psilocybin in the treatment of ocd is getting good result`s. also there is ton`s of evidence of psychedelic`s benifit`s in treating addiction.(i experianced this firsthand).used properly these drug`s benifit`s are endless, the problem is people lump all illegal drugs in the same catogorie. sit down with her and show her some of the studies on the M.A.P.S. website

Dosing them without their consent would just make things worse. Imagine if she flips out, and then finds out that she was tripping on shrooms, then believes even MORE that shrooms are bad. Then you'll have an even harder time explaining shrooms aren't bad for you. Not to mention it'd make you look irresponsible and immature.
