i have to say it is very chill fun music. anybody have any favorite bands? this isn't meant to be an art & music forum thread either hence why i posted it in the pub. saw a good show sweet please share.

not really a zydeco band, but leftover salmon does/did some great zydeco stuff. kinda zydeco minus the accordion.

word thats cool man. i was dancing my ass to this zydeco shit this past weekend. i never heard it before but my buddies i went with to the show were all about it and i have to say its interesting stuff. i like the different instruments involved. it doesnt have to be the exact def of the shit because actually i think i preferred the stuff they had that was the exact def. dance music is the shit, esp when chilling with alot of cool people. ive never really been into the festival shit before now but i can really see the appeal. esp if it has that stuff.

kindof i guess ya. i mean it is sort of southern shit in origin. but if you listen to bands now its not like just black people. listen to this shit man blue sky mission club they have live shit for free on the internet in flac quality http://www.archive.org/details/bsmc2009-05-16.mtx.flac16 .
