Sitting here in Hood River.....
    #10629286 -

...on vacation with my wife and daughters, on my way up to Vancouver Island, Vancouver, Jasper, Banff, and Glacier National Park. However, my new lens implant from cataract surgery has shifted, and driving has become a challenge. For those who know me, keep me in your thoughts and prayers for a safe trip. I have driven 1000 miles so far, and have a couple thousand more to go before I get back to Indiana.

I love you Shroomerites like a second family, and hope you all are having a happy and peaceful summer. I'll try to post some pics along the way, and will pick up a few goodies to give away in the Marketplace when I get back.

Thanks and Peace!

-Theo

Cool! I visit Banff every few months. Jasper every few years. Beautiful places. Come give Calgary a visit!

My wife doesn't like mountain driving (suffers from vertigo), and my daughters don't have a lot of experience in high traffic or treacherous roads. I am having a little double vision and blurryness, but not too bad. However, my eye surgeon just committed suicide after killing his wife (a real legal mess in Mishawaka, Indiana), so I have to find another surgeon who will handle my old doctor's cases.

I live in Michigan City. I was in Mishawaka yesterday shopping. I would love to go on a vacation like yours. I am going to Great America tomorrow. That will be the highlight of my summer.
