IE sucks

i was sooooo close to finishing the FAFSA form and then IE crashes and I hadn't saved for the past hour and a half of tax digging and head scratching questions

guess i'll restart tomorrow, i don't have the patience for this again today

Yeah IE really fucking sucks, so bad I felt I had to write a post about it in the science & technology forums. Everyone's response was basically "DUUHHH!!!"...

I only use it when I have to (such as on this shared computer I'm on now).

the cutoff date is june 30, i have time but god damn.  was so close to being done with that bastard and IE has to go loopy and fucking crash for no reason.. grrrrrrrrr

and this was the first time i've used IE since this version of XP was installed probably a year ago.

I got the beta when it came out a WHILE ago...

It was unstable but I guess they improved it loads since then.

as stated, I use firefox.  FAFSA does not support firefox, they want you on teh failure known as IE.

i'll just start off fresh tomorrow when I know the little girl i've been talking to lately will be online to keep me company and press the save button every time after i press the continue button.  i can't believe that huge failure of a browser crashed out on me.

zSDMF - do you know how this FAFSA shit works?  I filled it out, got some email back with some jargon I didn't understand, and have no idea wtf i'm supposed to do :shrug:

My acceptance to the masters program is "pending" but the graduate director is a mentor of mine so I'm a shoo-in.  Once I'm accepted do I just go talk to the financial aid people at my school?  Or do I contact fafsa and be like "where my money at?!"

I'm totally lost, heh

i'm 20 and you are obviously much further in the higher education process than I am (it took me 3 years to figure out I wanted to go to college).  i've been advised by a few people, school officials included, that it's just best I go in and talk to the criminal adviser first (beacause I have cases) and then go to the computer lab with my parents tax returns and mine and have the lab tech walk me through the processes.

i really have no idea how FAFSA works, all I know is it will pay for me to go to school in the fall.

but if i were you i'd go right to your financial aid department and show them the email and have them decypher it for you and let them take the wheel.  that's what they're paid to do, get you money to go to their school.
