Festival Checklist - My First Time, What to Bring??

Sorry if the title is misleading. I was wondering if anyone would be so kind enough to create a checklist of supplies to bring to a festival. I'm attending my first one and I'm not quite sure what to bring. I mean obviously the basics, but I'm sure there are many of you that have been to festivals and thought "Damn, I wish I brought a/an ____________"

What do you guys bring or see as crucial to bring to a festival?

Unfortunately, I don't have the time to write up an entire list of essentials but the one thing I cant stress enough is wet wipes.

They have been my biggest savior at festivals.. that and beer!

WATER...plenty of it

Nothing worse than being at a festival and having to spend 2-3$ just to be able to drink water.

I'd also bring food, like more than you might expect you'd need, just incase. Even if you don't plan on eating.

Sunscreen, sunglasses

Trail mix, jerky is great for festivals. Dried fruits, etc.

Wet wipes... you know, that's a great fucking call. Whenever I'm rolling or spun out, I get the shits, and it's always messy. Good fucking call.

Those wet wipes are fantastic! Me and my lady always bring some with us.

One thing I would really stress is to bring EASY TO PREPARE food that you will really want to eat. I've made the mistake of thinking that I was gonna want to cook all kinds of shit, then you get to the fest,proceed to get tore up, and end up spending WAY too much on food from vendors at overinflated prices.

Lots of water!

Shade canopy.

MANY lighters.

long johns, coat (raincoat preferrably)

clothes for hot weather.

condoms

money for drugs of choice

That's about all I can think of right now. hope it helps.

I would bring some high-protein energy bars. 

These will nourish you if you are too spun to cook.  And don't want to buy overpriced crappy food.

You definitely want to make sure you eat, as you will get pretty exhausted after dancing for 19 hours straight in the hot sun, but you may not realize it if you are too messed up. Just throw it in your pocket and dont' forget to eat it.  Eating an energy bar is an easy way to make sure you stay nourished.  You don't want to get sick out there.

Also, bring and drink plenty of water.  You don't want to get dehydrated and have to take a trip to the ER while you are trippin.  That would be a total buzz kill.

Also, an open mind (which I am sure you already have)...you will have a GREAT time!

Which one you going to?

I don't know if I will get to one this year...sucks for me.

Really that sucks. All the festivals in maine let u have a fire if your staying for the weekend. Its pretty sick we got like 11 festivals up here this summer.

What I take.

Lots of food.

Tent.

2 Blankets.

Sleeping bag.

2 Chairs.

LOTS OF WATER, like buckets of that shit.

4 Changes of clothes.

1 Extra pair of footwear.

Backpack.

Cooler with lock, lots of beer (Unless you can get it cheaper there).

At lest one fun costume.

Fun lights and glowing things.

Lock money and drugs in car.
