Its a book linking metaphysics and new age physics (quantum mechanics, special/general relativity). The science is explained mostly in layman's terms, no equations or anything, although it does have some diagrams.

Basically he tries to bring new age science into perspective with all of scientific history, and what the quest of science is really about (i.e. the search for truth, which is basically what religion is!) He describes how humans are fundamentally connected with nature and how revolutionary ideas (like Einsteins) change how perceive and interact with reality.

He even delves into the concept of enlightenment at the end of the book, discussing how our brain (as an individual) can never fully interpret reality, but as we long as we keep changing our views and perfecting our models (as humanity progresses), we come closer and closer to building an accurate representation of reality.

Heres a link to the book: http://www.amazon.com/Dancing-Wu-Li-Masters-Overview/dp/055326382X

He renounced his German citizenship many years before WWII in order to avoid mandatory service in the military.

The man did get a PhD afterall, you make it sound as though he needed no schooling to pull of what he pulled off.

Though he's easily one of the smartest people in written history

Really, because I'm pretty sure I said "He dropped out of high school to start his tertiary education early, not because he was fucking up in school".

Maybe you should try reading the thread before posting.
