toss the water and mist a tiny bit if it's dry. I seriously doubt it caused the green though.

if your incubating jars the Rh is not important at all... considering the sealed jars hold all the RH they need in side them.. now if you incubating casings the RH should be 95% and covered with foil with a few fork holes in the tin foil.. if you can get your hands on some perlite ( any garden store should have it) use that at the botom of your incubator with about an inch of sterilized water to keep up the RH. hope this helps.

my friend's experience has been that if you use foil there is no need to punch holes through as the foil doesn't seal so well around the edges. my friend thinks it is more important to punch holes if you use plastic wrap or some other cover that seals better. my friend incubates his casings in the same incubator he uses for jars: styrofoam cooler with an aquarium heater in a jar of water. he has really good luck with this set up.
