CDJs and Vinyl Turntables

Is there a big difference in how these work?
I'm looking into getting some CDJs but have some questions:

I want to DJ as cheaply as possible, so would I have to buy a whole CD to play a track I want, or can I buy CD quality individual mp3 files and just burn them onto disk? Will there be that big of a difference in quality?

Suggestions?

Try to buy 320's if you can.

You can also use USB drives on some CDJ's. It's faster and easier to find music sometimes...

If you have quality mp3's, most issues would lie somewhere between your mixer and your speakers.
