Yeah there's a good and bad side to everything.  For instance, the fat in nuts (especially raw almonds) is really good for you, whereas bacon fat it bad for you.

yea, i was reading about the various values of nuts somewhere, can't remember.  They are awesome.  just ate a bunch o homemade pecan pie.


I see a lot of bacon fat everyday, that shit doesn't even support life.  we don't even bother refridging the bacon fat at the resty I work at.  I just doesn't support life.

I think 3 strips of bacon with a good hearty breakfast  (two eggs and 2 pieces of wheat toast and a glass of OJ) is ok.  It's when you pile bacon on everything is when it becomes a problem.

You can eat eggs raw (it's safer if they're free range).  What I do is butter up a small pan and preheat to med/med hi.  Then I crack to eggs and plop them in next to each other.  I cook until it's mostly solid then I slide the pan over and flip the eggs onto the pan upside down and cook for another minute or so.  Then I get the plate ready and flip it right side up again, and I end up with a nice white base and 2 yolks just covered in the white protein.  I use a fork to peel the top off the yolk and dip away.  If anything, try it once.  It's delish.

I like them too, but solo.  Cooked egg yolks are good if you're making a breakfast sammich out of em, otherwise I like that shit to run.  Just make sure you rinse the plate immediately after consumption or it's a BITCH to scrub clean.  :lol:

You can just use the egg white to sop up the yolk, or any other item on your plate.

Bread is good, as is sausage or bacon.

Solid yolk = make a sammich (bacon, cheese, bagels, etc)

Runny yolk = dip some toast in it and finish the toast, then lightly salt the remains and fork it up!

If you're using the 2 biggest eggs (jumbo) then 3 pieces of regular sized bread is fine.  If you're using large/extra large then cut it down to 2. It also depends on how long you cook the eggs.  In my personal experience, the longer you cook the eggs the safer, but you might end up solidifying some of the yolk and reducing the yield of dippyness.  :lol:

chicken eggs come in a lot of colors, white and brown ae common
but there's also pink, greens, blues and browns so dark you'd
think they were chocolate, Araucanas are known well for the
colorful eggs

Wow!  Please don't tell me that you haven't been to the "Hatchery" forum.  It's a couple of forums down from "Cultivation" Forum.  they'll guide you from Acquiring viable eggs from a trusted sponsor to incubation period and all the way to birthing!  You'll have "Chicks"  in no time flat!  Be sure to follow a tek that works for you and follow it to the letter.  As always!  If you have any questions.... Use the Search Function!  If you can't find the answer to your question, I'm sure you can ask a "Trusted Farmer".  They can be trusted in all things related to Farms and farm animals.

i always wondered the reason to. i had this discussion with my mom, and she didnt know why either, other than that they where rarer.

chickens lay blue and green eggs, what it's been fed does affect

how did a fox get in your home?



the chickens roamed around outside, near a chicken coop that they had access throu a small chicken door haha. one day we went outside and they were all killed and ripped up in the area around the chicken coop. it was lame as fuck.

i remember being little and my mom asking, "Do you want eggs?" and i would say yes. so she'd tell me to run out to the chicken coop and get however many i wanted and some for my dad too :lol:

i'd go out there with a basket or egg carton and load up on some eggs. i always thought it was pretty cool back in the day.

Eggs are pretty decent. I like the toast + dip method Newbie described, but my fave is hard-boiled, mashed up in a bowl with a little butter and salt. Mmmm! Also scrambled with some grated cheddar and some salsa. I call it nachoeggs!
