egg cholesterol is good, sodium promotes life in proper doses and protein is key.

Yeah there's a good and bad side to everything.  For instance, the fat in nuts (especially raw almonds) is really good for you, whereas bacon fat it bad for you.

yea, i was reading about the various values of nuts somewhere, can't remember.  They are awesome.  just ate a bunch o homemade pecan pie.


I see a lot of bacon fat everyday, that shit doesn't even support life.  we don't even bother refridging the bacon fat at the resty I work at.  I just doesn't support life.

I think 3 strips of bacon with a good hearty breakfast  (two eggs and 2 pieces of wheat toast and a glass of OJ) is ok.  It's when you pile bacon on everything is when it becomes a problem.

Omelette's are pure win, but I don't enjoy my own.  For some reason I prefer a nice piece of crispy toast to dip into sunny-side up eggs.

I have no idea how in the hell you guys can eat yoke thats not fully cooked. Is it really that good? Come to think of it I havn't tried it since i was a kid. Is it even safe?

You can eat eggs raw (it's safer if they're free range).  What I do is butter up a small pan and preheat to med/med hi.  Then I crack to eggs and plop them in next to each other.  I cook until it's mostly solid then I slide the pan over and flip the eggs onto the pan upside down and cook for another minute or so.  Then I get the plate ready and flip it right side up again, and I end up with a nice white base and 2 yolks just covered in the white protein.  I use a fork to peel the top off the yolk and dip away.  If anything, try it once.  It's delish.

Hard-boiled eggs are fucking disgusting.  The yolk is like chalk...

I like them too, but solo.  Cooked egg yolks are good if you're making a breakfast sammich out of em, otherwise I like that shit to run.  Just make sure you rinse the plate immediately after consumption or it's a BITCH to scrub clean.  :lol:

You can just use the egg white to sop up the yolk, or any other item on your plate.

Bread is good, as is sausage or bacon.

Solid yolk = make a sammich (bacon, cheese, bagels, etc)

Runny yolk = dip some toast in it and finish the toast, then lightly salt the remains and fork it up!
