If you drink Budweiser or similar beers, something that would compare to it, but yet be a step up

Grolsch is very good beer.

I haven't drank Grolsch in over a year now but it's good.

Uber bitter beer. SweetWater does make some damn good brews. Next time I visit the parents I'm gonna do a tour of the SweetWater brewery.


i think it is super tasty. drank a bunch of that (mostly sweetwater ipa, but some 420) and a bunch of terrapin when we were down in athens recently.

So happy to have great local microbreweries like Unibroue , Boreale , L'alchimiste , Don du Ciel...the list goes on forever.  They make quality beer that trace back to the folklore and regional culture.

Stop drinking beer you can't even taste ( how smooooth it goes down :rolleyes: ) and support your local brewers.

What's with all the "beer snob" hate?  Being ready to pay for something you enjoy is not snobbish , it shows a deeper interest in the field, that's all.

I've drank and appreciated good beer but I don't because I'm broke. Fosters is my beer of choice in a pub.

Nicest beers I've had are Budvar,Staropramen and Pilsner Urquell. All sampled in Czech where they're brewed so there were no additives or bad stuff.

I went to a badass store yesterday that sold so many kinds of fuckin beer. I never even knew there were that many kinds! I bought a bunch of singles of come cool looking beer to find what i might like. Tonight, probably after i drink them i will take some pictures of the bottles. One of them is fucking 15%!

Nice. 15% bottles of beer would blow the head off you.

Next time you're in an offy,ask if they have Buckfast. Unlikely if you're in the U.S. but it would be good if you could get a hold of it. It's tonic wine,very syrupy taste. 15% as well or so and it's generally referred to as speed in a bottle. Loopy juice altogether.
